About Clair
A fully qualified counsellor, working from an integrative framework, Clair offers her clients a warm, open, safe space where they can explore and resolve issues that are causing pain and discomfort in their lives in a supportive, non-judgemental and confidential environment.
Working in private practice in both Dublin City Centre and Lucan, Clair provides one to one therapy sessions for children, adolescents and adults. She also counsels in a secondary school in Ballyfermot. Alongside her therapeutic work Clair lectures on the Diploma and Degree programme in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Studies at IICP, Tallaght.
Qualifications
MSc Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Dip in Supervision
BA (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dip. Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, Professional Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Professional Certificate in Crisis Pregnancy Counselling.
Clair is trained in Person Centred, Choice Theory /Reality Therapy and uses an Integrative approach in her therapy, integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy and Mindfulness. Clair is also a qualified Special Needs Assistant.
Clair is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MIACP) and follows their Code of Ethics.
